Our School Board
Peter Greendyk,
Administrator
Mr.Greendyk joined NRCS in September 1988 after several years in the business field with a BBA from Pace University. He then obtained an additional major in Social Studies from William Paterson University and his teaching certification through the New Jersey Alternate Route program in 1990. For many years he has taught Bible, various History courses and Business courses. He served as Director of Guidance from 1992-2022, and in 2014 was assigned the additional role of Vice Principal. Beginning in September 2025 he began to transition into the Principal's role and assumed full responsibility from Mr. Van Der Brink in August 2026. He teaches several Bible, History and other classes at NRCS.
John Van Der Brink,
Vice Principal
Mr. Van Der Brink was hired in 1986 as Principal of NRCS. Prior to that he received a BA in Industrial Arts Education from Westmar University in LeMars, Iowa. He was a teacher for three years and then for four years Principal of the Rehoboth Christian School in Norwich, Ontario, Canada, before joining NRCS. In 2012 he received a Masters Degree in School Administration from Montclair State University. He later obtained NJ State certification to oversee the Provisional Teacher Program, the State intake process for new teachers. After transitioning out of the Principal's position, he continues to oversee the PTP, teaches several Shop,Technology and Church History classes, and remains on our Chapel speaker roster.

Laurie Van Wingerden,
Administrative Assistant
Laurie was hired as secretary at NRCS in 2010. She has gradually taken on more responsibilities, and was appointed Administrative Assistant in 2017. Laurie manages several administrative tasks and coordinates all communication with parents, teachers, and students. She also manages the office work flow and is responsible for the distribution of all school publications as well as maintaining student records.
Linda Berkenbush,
Financial Assistant
Linda joined the office team in 2013. Her main responsibility is to oversee all financial aspects of the school’s operation. She coordinates school purchasing and billing, employee payroll, and is the point of contact for funding from Morris County Education Services Commission and Pequannock Township Public Schools. Linda also reviews budgets and oversees tuition payments and endowment donations.
Jacqueline Sinke
Guidance Counselor
Jacqueline joined our Leadership Team in 2024 following several years of teaching in the classroom in various schools in Canada, the Netherlands and most recently here at NRCS. She earned a BA from Montclair University and currently serves as the school’s Guidance Director and meets with all high school students regarding course selection. She advises juniors and seniors regarding their post-high school plans, counsels students in special behavioral circumstances, and coordinates the Cooperative Education Program. She teaches several junior high and high school courses.
